2017 CKP Boot Camp

Boot Camp is three days of intensive training on everything you need to know to run a Campus Kitchen. This event is for Campus Kitchen leaders and new schools who want to bring a Campus Kitchen to their campus! Boot Camp is held at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC. The tentative schedule is Monday 10-5:30, Tuesday 8-4:30, Wednesday 8-3.
The week will include a hands-on kitchen training, with explanation of sample HACCP kitchen safety procedures.
Guest presenters will lead training sessions on grant writing, nutrition education, social media and other supplementary programming to turn your Campus Kitchen into a thriving community-based organization. This is also a great opportunity to meet other Campus Kitchen leaders across the country to share ideas and connect in the fight against hunger.
