as much as you can to find out how
it works and what we do, and
get some answers to your questions.
- See How Affiliation Works: We’ve got Seven
Basics that every Campus Kitchen has in common, and Seven
Steps to Affiliation. Plus we’ve got a timeline
that will give you our deadlines and timelines. Read through,
see if you have questions, and see if you think it might work
at your school.
- Tell us About Your School: Download our Initial
School Survey, fill it out, and email it to us at .
- Talk to CKP: Give us a call. We love meeting new people.
We’ll help you get the ball rolling with feasibility studies
and getting the right partners on board. (202) 387-2888 or email
us at .
Every Campus Kitchen is unique, and every single one is the combined effort
of many different partners on campus. It’s like that on purpose. A Campus
Kitchen won’t do much good if the people you serve can’t count on
those meals through spring breaks and graduations. That means that a lot of partners
each have to buy into it and each do a little bit, so that the program doesn’t
just count on one committed person.
So there’s bad news and there’s good news. Bad news: you won’t
have your Campus Kitchen up and running tomorrow or next week. The good news?
When you do, it’ll be a smart, strong, well-supported student organization
that truly makes change for your community. It’s a big part of who we are,
and we want you to be a part of it.
