Announcing the Kellogg Fellowship Program PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 26 August 2008 16:27
The Campus Kitchens Project (CKP) announces the inaugural year of the CKP Fellowship Program — a leadership training institute developed with support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. The program will support 10 individuals (CKP Fellows) selected from Campus Kitchens across the country in a year-long fellowship that focuses on becoming nonprofit leaders in the community. Open to both Campus Kitchen staff and volunteer, CKP Fellows will acquire the skills necessary to transform their personal commitment to the Campus Kitchen into public leadership and learn how to incorporate their innovative ideas and strategies for social change into mainstream practice on local and national levels.

The major components of the CKP Fellowship Program include:
  • Direct Service: Lead your Campus Kitchen and collaborate with other Fellows across the Campus Kitchens network.
  • Service Learning: Impact your community with the development of an innovative Community Impact Project.
  • Leadership Training: Participate in a virtual education series, share insights and experiences on your CKP sponsored blog, and develop a mentor relationship with a nonprofit professional.

Applications are due August 22, 2008.
